Jr is a personal robot. Technically, an autonomous mobile sensor platform, and practically a re-imagination of what a home security system should be. He moves around your home, observes, and notifies you when something might be wrong. You can think of him as a mobile dropcam / canary that's smart enough to learn your patterns, recognize your family, friends, and neighbors, and unobtrusively let you know and take action if a problem is detected. He requires no installation beyond plugging in his base station, downloading our app, and tap-pairing your iPhone (and eventually Android / Windows Phones and tablets). We avoid the 94-99% false alarm rate of traditional security systems by securely pairing to your device(s) and allowing you to quickly decide if something is serious or not without having to answer a call, give your pin, or having the police dispatched to your home unnecessarily.. and you don't have to arm or disarm him - he is more like a smart, watchful companion.
