Iceboxe helps people manage their diseases through nutrition. We bend the healthcare cost curve down for self-insured corporations and accountable care organizations (ACO's) by improving patient outcomes through nutrition. We're initially focused on hypertension and heart disease, but our platform can be configured for lots of diseases. How it works: People personalize their profile with their health needs (e.g. hypertension, want to lose 1 lb. per week, allergic to dairy and peanuts), then they browse thousands of recipes from top food blogs (our partners) that all fit their needs. They can then create meal plans and auto-generate shopping lists. People also log their food intake and receive customized nutrition analytics and recommendations, tailored specifically to them. Customers: Our primary customers are self-insured corporations and accountable care organizations (ACO's), although anyone can use the meal planner for free (what's in the alpha).
