With 162 games per season, playing fantasy baseball is intense. League managers have to spend many hours each week setting lineups based on their research and any lineup changes. To ease the burden of that, I created Fantasy Baseball Alerts to automate most of the mundane information. FBA automatically checks player status, lineup changes (benched/starting), minor league moves, DL moves, and recent news. FBA then automatically sends out these notifications via email and text messaging to league managers. Another unique feature that we started is the automated Yahoo league sync. Since Yahoo is the most popular fantasy site on the internet, we create a process to automatically sync players between Yahoo and FBA so that league managers didn't have to manage 2 sites - just adjust their lineups as usual on Yahoo, and we'll pick up the changes automatically.
